This icy drink is perfect for hot days. You can leave out the brandy to make it alcohol-free.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Freeze Time: 8 hours or overnight

Servings: Makes about 24 glasses

What You’ll Need

  • 4 green tea bags (2 grams each)
  • 5 cups of boiling water (divided)
  • 1 cup of white sugar
  • 2 cups of brandy
  • 1 can (12 ounces) frozen lemonade concentrate
  • 1 can (12 ounces) frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 1 bottle (2 liters) lemon-lime soda

How to Make It

  1. Make the Tea: Steep the green tea bags in 2 cups of boiling water for 10 minutes.
  2. Mix the Base: In a large pan (like a 9×13-inch dish), add the remaining 3 cups of boiling water and stir in the sugar until it’s dissolved. Mix in the brandy, frozen lemonade concentrate, and frozen orange juice concentrate.
  3. Combine: Remove the tea bags and pour the tea into the pan with the brandy mixture. Stir everything well, then put it in the freezer for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  4. Serve: Scoop some of the frozen slush into a glass, then pour lemon-lime soda over it. Stir and enjoy!
